중국 극동지역에 가면 ‘모소’라는 이름의 대나무를 볼 수 있다.
이 대나무는 심은 지 4년 동안은 아무리 물을 주고 가꿔도 자라지 않는다고 한다.
하지만 계속해서 확신을 가지고 끊임없이 정성을 다하면 5년째 되는 해,
매일 30cm 이상 자라 6주 만에 15미터를 훌쩍 넘긴다.
첫 4년 동안은 뿌리를 내리고 있었던 것이다.
우리도 마찬가지다. 보이지 않는다 해서 성장하지 않는 것이 아니다.
포기하지 않고 끊임없이 노력한다면 언젠가 누구보다 높은 곳에 도달해 있을 것이다.

In the far eastern region of China, there is a bamboo plant called ‘Moso’. Moso does not grow for 4 years after planted regardlesshow carefully you water it. However, if you put endless effort with your faith in growing Moso, it will grow more than 30cm per day and its height will reach over 15 meters within 6 weeks. The fact is that Mosowas spreading down its roots for the first 4 years. Same logic applies to us as well. Invisibility does not mean no growth. Do not give up, make constant effort, and you will someday reach the sky that you aimed for.
